Project Manager needed in New Orleans ASAP! 
Must be able to manage team of 10 seasoned art professionals. 
 
  • Responsible for the direct and indirect supervision of employees including, but not limited to, interviewing, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving issues
 
  • Responsible to confer with owners, contractors and design personnel to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints or prop construction issues.
 
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating all prop construction projects to meet deadlines.
 
  • Responsible for coordinating all activities for prop personnel as needed and ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed at all times and assist in creating and implementing new polices/procedures as needed
 
  • Responsible for monitoring and communications to Operations Manager on a daily basis to ensure all work is completed accurately, properly and efficiently as it relates to established and/or new procedures while minimizing use of overtime and temp labor 
 
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports or cost tracking reports.
 
  • Responsible for requisition and maintaining inventory of all tools and related supplies in the Dens to complete prop construction projects.
 
  • Develop or implement quality control programs.
 
  • Investigate damage, accidents and injuries at dens to ensure proper prop construction procedures are being followed.
 
 
  • Interpret and explain prop construction progress to owners, administrative staff, workers and clients
 
  • Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with safety codes or other regulations.
 
  • Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or prop construction/den site emergencies.
 
  • Reports to work on time, as directed by the Operations Manager, and completes all duties in a timely manner
 
  • Performs above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating the information as needed effectively
 
  • Perform any other duty assigned by Operations Manager or upper management team as needed
 
  • All personnel within this job description shall be subject to cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needs
