TREE CUTTING - FIELD SUPERVISOR
Must have experience working around POWER LINES.
A Field Supervisor is the deputy to the General Foreman and serves as the direct manager of 5 crews of approximately 22 or 23 persons. The Field Supervisor must have experience in the tree industry, and be knowledgeable of the tree industry. The crews the Field Supervisor will manage will consist of 3-4 cutting crews that will involve some combination of climbers elevated in trees, bucket truck teams, and ground sawyers and 1-2 EDM crew(s) involving some combination of skid steers, mini-excavators, chippers and associated tools and equipment. All work will occur in proximity to high voltage power lines. Assisting the Field Supervisor in management (and included in the team of 22 or 23 persons) will be 5 Working Foremen.
The Field Supervisor needs to have the following Skills / Training:
OSHA Logging 1910.266
Technical Tree Felling & Cutting Techniques
Chain Saw Safety
Aerial Lift Operations
Knots & Hitches
First Aid / CPR
MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE TREE EXPERIENCE
