The (IT) Information Technology Sales Associate holds the primary responsibility for the identification, development, and realization of revenue opportunities with U.S. government organizations and agencies in the assigned defense, federal and civilian sectors targeting (IT) Information technology services.
This position is responsible for both strategy development and execution of revenue capture plans, and must demonstrate a strong acumen for managing a sales effort that works in tandem with other team members.
Where appropriate, the associate will manage third party teaming relationships to successfully capture opportunities, as well as leverage existing contracting vehicles and business relationships with prime contractors focusing on the (IT) Information technology sector.
The position will have annual goals and objectives for attaining revenue, facilitating bookings, maintaining backlog, and maximizing profit margin.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a quantifiable track record of generating revenue from large complex government-related technology procurements.
The successful candidate will require a “roll-up your sleeves” work ethic and take a hands-on approach in driving revenue growth.
Bachelor’s degree, related military experience or related (IT) Information technology sales experience.
Preferred candidates will have a minimum of seven (7) years of successful (IT) Information technology sales experience to the DoD, Civil agencies and Prime Government Contractors focusing on (IT) Information technology contracts. Must have a verifiable track record of identifying, qualifying, positioning and capturing programs involving (IT) Information technology or related solutions.
Computer competency to include proficiency with the MS Office Suite and ability to gain command of the company’s CRM program. Experience with bid review processes, proposals creation and teaming Agreement facilitation.
Self-starter capable of composing and executing opportunity capture plans and account strategies.
Involvement in professional/trade association activities and customer events.
Ability to travel, as required, to prospective and existing customer facilities.
Effective communications skills and leadership qualities. Is an innovative, enthusiastic, and proactive business executive who is able to represent our client within high levels of myriad organizations.

Proposal writing, speaking and presentation.
Ability to make timely and effective decisions in assessing business opportunities.
Knowledge of the federal government’s planning, decision making processes, and budgeting;
procurement procedures, regulations and tendencies.
This positon pays a base salary plus a generous commission plan.
